The first week of CAS at SHBS was dedicated to everyone's favorite ongoing event: the vibrant Water Relay Challenge. As the temperature rises, the campus shaded by greenery is filled with even more passionate youthful energy. This activity, carefully designed by the PE department and student affairs teachers, tests not only speed and strength but also wisdom and teamwork abilities. Let's dive into this exciting competition and observe how each participant cleverly uses their intelligence and effort to pass the water balloons from the starting point to the finish line.
Without being able to turn around, each participant had to pass the water balloons to the person behind them. In teams, mutual cooperation is essential, and it is important for groups to maintain the principles of fair competition. In this race, teachers also formed teams and participated enthusiastically, spending a joyful time with the students.
Some students carefully cradled the water balloons, hoping to safely deliver them to the finish line; others focused solely on speed, aiming to hit the bucket at the end of the line in one go.
After the competition, the participants shared their experiences and feelings with each other. Student Selina said excitedly, "This is my first time participating in such an event. It not only strengthens physical fitness but also teaches many teamwork skills. In my opinion, the value of teamwork surpasses any award."
The thrilling water balloon transport has temporarily come to an end, and now the water fight is about to begin. The students happily raised their water guns and buckets, splashing each other with cool water droplets, expressing friendship and alleviating the discomfort brought by the hot summer day.
Rolling up their pants legs or wearing shorts and short sleeves, the students couldn't wait to start the water fight game, with several principals and teachers also joining in. Armed with various styles of water guns, they ran back and forth across the playground, releasing their enthusiasm and energy. They occasionally shouted loudly, with splashes of water and waves of laughter. Through this free-form water battle, everyone established closer friendships and deepened their mutual understanding.
Under the sunlight, the water droplets sparkled, seeming like the purest source of joy in summer. At this moment, every corner was filled with happiness and laughter, becoming an unforgettable summer memory in the hearts of the students.
The Water Relay Challenge held on the SHBS campus is not only a passionate competition that adds fun to the busy student life, but we are also eagerly looking forward to gathering on campus again next year to continue creating our own wonderful stories.
