Mark Twain once said: “There are two types of speakers: Those who get nervous and those who are liars.” We all know the importance of public speaking, yet many of us dread it. How can we help the students overcome some of the nervousness and speak confidently on stage?
许多孩子学习英语多年却怯于开口，如何帮助他们建立信心，丛容地站在舞台上进行英文演讲呢？
Many students are too afraid to speak English even after many years of learning English. How can we help them build up their confidence so that they can deliver English speeches composedly on the stage?

Welcome to join SHBS English Speech Camp this winter, our Chinese and foreign faculty will show the students how to achieve that confidence and help them improve English-speaking skills.

Time：January 15th-17th, 2022
Place: Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School (No. 178 Kezhiyuan Rd., Qingpu District, Shanghai)

训练营提供课程包括但不限于
Courses offered (including but not limited to)
英文发音、优秀演讲赏析、语言&非语言沟通、有效词汇累积、演讲稿撰写和演讲呈现。学生将收获英文学习和演讲的自信、演讲技能、发音准确度、英文流利度以及全天候全英文沉浸式学习环境，提高英文演讲能力和综合能力。
English pronunciation and intonation, English speech appreciation, verbal and non-verbal communication, effective vocabulary accumulation, speech writing and delivery. Immersed in an all-English environment, students will be more confident in English learning and English speaking; their public speaking skills, English pronunciation, fluency, and overall English communicative ability will be improved.

视频的开头请简单介绍自己以及对这次训练营的期待，具体的演讲主题可以自定。
Please introduce yourself at the beginning of the video and express your expecations for this camp.
收到申请材料后，负责老师会在三个工作日内完成审核，并回复确认是否可以参与训练营。
On receiving your video, our teachers in charge will inform you the result through email.
