Law—where logic meets adrenaline! Mr. Yuan Kaiyu, a seasoned senior partner, walked us through the legal career trajectory:As a junior lawyer, you research cases until your eyes blur.As a mid-level lawyer, you manage cases and balance life on a razor’s edge. As a senior lawyer, you negotiate like a Wall Street shark.Mr. Yuan emphasized that law is not just about memorizing rules; it’s about accumulating experience, thinking critically, and staying updated with ever-changing regulations. He reminded us that laws resolve disputes through logic, not force—an essential pillar of a civilized society. For those considering a legal career, he had some honest words: it’s high-pressure, high-stakes, and often high-stress—but the rewards and sense of accomplishment make it all worthwhile.

In this lecture, Mr. Derek, with his rich experience in career planning, emphasized that the core of career planning lies in adapting to changes, and pointed out that the current popular industries may undergo great changes in the future, so students should cultivate comprehensive abilities across industries and fields. He suggested that students do not have to stick to "matching" when choosing a major, but should focus on the flexibility of majors or liberal arts colleges, and improve their competitiveness through industry exploration and internship accumulation. Derek also analyzed the employment characteristics of various regions in the United States and proposed that the future career market needs T-shaped talents, that is, they have broad comprehensive abilities and deep professional qualities in a certain field. He encouraged students to judge the appropriate industry through background mining, personality assessment and brainstorming, and to keep an open mind and actively respond to future career challenges. The lecture conveyed a positive attitude towards life in the face of change, encouraging students to maintain tenacity and dedication in career planning, and bravely face the uncertainty of the future.

In a recent interactive lecture with students, Ms. Shi Chunyan, a Chinese medicine expert, cleverly combined professional knowledge with life practice in a relaxed question-and-answer format. In the face of students' enthusiastic questions, she not only answered academic confusions, but also shared daily health care experiences.

A student asked: "Why do we need to learn modern technology in Chinese medicine courses?" Shi Chunyan smiled and replied: "Inheritance is not conservative, and innovation is not separated from the roots. For example, "Biopharmaceutics" can analyze the absorption rules of Chinese medicine ingredients, and "Cell Culture Technology" can verify the modern efficacy of ancient prescriptions. Only by combining the two can the wisdom of thousands of years be "alive" in the present." She took the example of "the stomach meridian is strong from 7 to 9 o'clock" and suggested that students practice Ba Duan Jin after breakfast: "Unblocking the qi, refreshing the mind, more effective than coffee!" She personally demonstrated the movements on the spot, emphasizing that "early sleep to nourish the liver" is the basis for academic efficiency.

Students were curious, "Is there a narrow career path for TCM?" She shook her head and said, "From clinical pharmacists to new drug developers, and even health managers, there are 'places to use your skills'. But you need to be down-to-earth - for example, you need to understand "In Vivo Drug Analysis" before you talk about innovation."
At the end of the lecture, she reminded, "Learning TCM is not only about memorizing prescriptions, but also about understanding "the correspondence between heaven and man." Staying up less late and avoiding cold drinks, these details are the foundation of health." This Q&A session not only solved academic doubts, but also planted a seed of "unity of knowledge and action."

Mr. Cao has been deeply involved in the entertainment industry for many years, accumulating extensive experience and profound insights. He is a highly respected expert in the field. During the discussion, Mr. Boyang Cao focused on the key considerations when organizing large-scale entertainment events such as music festivals and concerts. Regarding the process of inviting artists, he pointed out that, besides evaluating an artist’s market influence and fan base, it is crucial to consider whether their schedule aligns with the event date, whether their performance style fits seamlessly with the event theme, and even the reputation of their past performances should not be overlooked.
When it came to venue arrangements, Mr. Cao had much to share. The venue’s capacity must precisely match the expected audience size—not only to prevent wasted space but also to avoid overcrowding, which could pose safety risks. The geographical location is also critical, as accessibility directly affects whether the audience can arrive smoothly. Additionally, supporting facilities around the venue, such as dining, accommodation, and parking, should be factored into the early-stage planning.
Furthermore, Mr. Cao shared many little-known industry insights and real-world cases, covering everything from the approval process in the early preparation stages to strategies for handling unexpected situations during on-site execution. His comprehensive explanations provided us with a clearer and more thorough understanding of the complex operations within the entertainment industry.
