As the new semester approaches, SHBS has welcomed a group of enthusiastic and energetic new teachers. To ensure their swift integration into the team and to enhance their teaching capabilities, from August 12th to 14th, the school specially organized a series of autumn new faculty training activities. These activities not only covered teaching philosophies and curriculum system introductions but also included practical content such as communication skills with students and classroom management strategies. During the training, the school leaders personally participated, demonstrating the school's high regard for the growth of new teachers.

As the sun of August continues to shine brightly, the teachers of SHBS have gathered together with full enthusiasm to welcome the teacher training week of the new school year. The week of August 15th is not only a preparation for the new semester but also an important moment for the professional growth and team cohesion enhancement of our teacher team.

On the first day of the training week, we focused on the theme of "boundaries". Principal Chris led the teachers in an in-depth discussion on establishing and maintaining teacher-student and colleague relationships in educational practice. Through case analysis, teachers learned how to build a positive interactive educational environment while respecting personal privacy.

On the second day, through a series of carefully designed team-building activities, teachers strengthened communication and collaboration in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. These activities not only deepened the understanding between team members but also enhanced the overall collaborative ability of the team.

This year's training week especially included GIA training, covering GIA teaching methodologies, CLIL classroom practices, student safety and value education, exam workshops, and learning through creativity. It is particularly worth mentioning that the application of AI technology in education became a hot topic.

At the conclusion of the training, we engaged in profound reflection and outlook planning. The week-long training not only provided teachers with valuable knowledge and experience but also ignited their enthusiasm and confidence for the teaching tasks of the new semester.

Through the training, the Hongrun Boyuan teaching team has achieved significant improvements in professional skills and teamwork.
