In the "Boundaries" lecture, Principal Chris led the teachers in clarifying various boundary issues in work and life. Through in-depth discussions involving concrete cases, the significance of boundaries was examined from the perspectives of time, space, and behavior. The establishment of "warning lines" that shouldn't be crossed was stressed, helping participants realize the importance of managing boundaries for enhancing efficiency of work and quality of life. Following this engaging lecture, teachers gained a deeper understanding of how to achieve better work-life balance amidst tight working schedule.

During department meetings, teachers brainstormed and discussed the teaching goals, tasks, and plans of key points and difficult points for the upcoming semester. Under the guidance of subject group leaders, they broke down teaching objectives and devised personalized teaching strategies based on students' characteristics. These fresh teaching ideas and plans not only bolster teachers' control over the curriculum but also contribute to enhancing students' interest and effectiveness in learning.

The team-building activities took the form of interactive games, allowing teachers to share their unique experiences and express their deep understandings of the school values. The "Passing the Number" challenge deepened communication and collaboration among members. Through this activity, teachers understood the importance of cooperation and synergy in a team: under a common goal and context, only when everyone grasps the same set of rules and logic can collective objectives be more efficiently achieved. Establishing such a sense of mutual understanding will promote more efficient collaboration in daily work.

Led by Miao, all faculty and staff members meticulously studied the student handbook, understanding dress code and behavioral norms. The student handbook serves as an essential guide for teachers' work, helping them better comprehend the school's expectations and set positive examples in their work.

The bilingual teacher language workshop, facilitated by Chuman, delved into the use of native language in foreign language teaching. Participants jointly explored methods to minimize the use of Chinese language and enhance the effectiveness of bilingual instruction. Teachers learned how to strike a balance in language use during teaching, enabling students to adapt more naturally to the bilingual environment.

The rowing experience encountered some setbacks, but the weather eventually cleared after rain, allowing the activity to proceed smoothly. On the post-rain lake surface, teachers collectively experienced rowing, enjoying the serene lake view and simultaneously honing their teamwork skills.
