Seven cohorts of students have graduated from Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School (SHBS) since its establishment, receiving 735 admission offers from top universities across countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Switzerland, as well as Hong Kong and Macau in China. As of March 31, 2025, this number once again reflects the outstanding capabilities and global vision of SHBS students.
Amid fierce competition, the Class of 2025 stood out and secured offers from top universities such as the University of Chicago, University of California, Berkeley,University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New York University, Boston College, Boston University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University College London, University of Melbourne, University of the Arts London, and Parsons School of Design.
Among these offers, the admissions to the University of Chicago, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (including two honors programs), and the University of California, Berkeley are particularly capturing. At the same time, many top liberal arts colleges in the United States have also extended olive branches, such as Macalester College, Mount Holyoke College, Occidental College, and Skidmore College. The admitted majors include anthropology, psychology, sociology, economics and finance, politics and law, etc.


As of March 31, 2025, SHBS have successively received admission offers from the following prestigious universities in the US:
Top 20 U.S. Universities: Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, University of Chicago, University of California, Los Angeles, and University of California, Berkeley.
Top 30 U.S. Universities: New York University, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Emory University, University of Virginia, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and University of Southern California.
Top liberal arts colleges have also shown strong recognition of SHBS students, with offers from institutions such as Carleton College (ranked 6th among U.S. liberal arts colleges), Claremont McKenna College, Davidson College, Grinnell College, Pitzer College,Colorado College, Macalester College, Bates College, Mount Holyoke College, Oberlin College, Lafayette College, Bard College, Occidental College, and Franklin & Marshall College.
The admitted majors include anthropology, psychology, sociology, economics and finance, politics and law, etc, demonstrating the students’ strength in both academic depth and humanistic qualities.
Admissions Outside the U.S.: Offers from Top Global Universities Shine Bright
SHBS students have received offers from numerous top-ranked universities on the QS World University Rankings, including:
Top 10 UK Universities: University College London (UCL), University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, University of Manchester, University of Bristol, and University of Warwick. The admitted majors span from Finance and Engineering to Cultural Heritage Studies and Sustainable Energy—fields that align with global trends while reflecting each student’s pursuit of personalized development. In the field of arts, the University of the Arts London has also offered admissions for multiple times, further highlighting students’ creativity.
Outstanding results have also been achieved in admission to Canadian universities, with students receiving offers from top 5 Canadian universities such as the University of Toronto, McGill University, and the University of British Columbia. Majors include Statistics, Life Sciences, and Management, among others. Several students were also awarded generous scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence.
Outstanding performance was also seen in admission to Australian universities, with frequent offers from QS Top 50 universities such as the University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, and Monash University. Admitted majors span cutting-edge fields including Artificial Intelligence and Architectural Design.
In addition, SHBS students have extended their academic journeys to an even broader range of countries and regions. Notable admissions in Hong Kong and Macau include University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Macau University of Science and Technology. Students have also received offers from Rikkyo University, Keio University, and Waseda University in Japan; Kyung Hee University in South Korea; EHL Hospitality Business School and Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland; NEOMA Business School in France; NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Italy; and the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Majors range from International Business to Arts Management, reflecting a truly global academic vision.
