AI is a technology that uses computer technology and algorithms to simulate human intelligent behavior and realize functions such as perception, reasoning, learning and decision-making. It is widely used in various fields, bringing convenience and changes to human life and work, and has become popular in today's society.

On March 31, our school held a unique CAS event, and we were fortunate to invite student parent Mr. Sun Chaoyang to give us an in-depth analysis of the development trend of AI. Mr. Sun’s sharing not only broadened our horizons, but also made us deeply aware of the importance of improving research and learning capabilities in the interaction with AI.

During the event, Mr. Sun focused on introducing Deepseek, a tool that can be regarded as a powerful tool for learning thinking. Through interaction with Deepseek, we learned how to ask questions, and the ability to ask questions is undoubtedly a crucial one among many abilities. Mr. Sun pointed out that the depth of human cognition of AI tools no longer depends solely on the understanding of their construction, but is more affected by the degree to which the tools conceal complexity. In other words, as we rely more and more on interfaces as windows to reality, the results of the system's black box output are gradually internalized by us as intuition. In this case, the invisible authority of AI tools quietly changes the nature of knowledge, from "understanding structure" to "trusting abstraction."

However, Mr. Sun also reminded us that AI is not omnipotent. Its database is not perfect and may be "poisoned", that is, provide wrong or misleading information. He emphasized that even if the same question is asked to AI repeatedly, different answers may be obtained. This is precisely because there may be multiple answers in the AI's information database itself, which also indirectly reflects the uncertainty and limitations of AI's output results.

After Mr. Sun's in-depth and easy-to-understand explanation, the students focused on thinking, and the two principals also actively asked questions to the experts, and unreservedly threw out the confusions encountered in the process of learning and exploration. Mr. Sun patiently and carefully explained one by one, the atmosphere was warm, and the students gained a lot. Not only did they have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of AI, but they also stimulated greater enthusiasm for learning and research in the collision of ideas.

At the end of the event, accompanied by a video jointly shot by the Parent Committee, this significant CAS event came to a successful conclusion. We believe that through this event, schools, students, and AI technology itself will move towards a better future. We look forward to continuing to explore the deep integration of AI with human learning and growth in the future, and jointly opening a new chapter in smart education.
