Dear students, respected teachers, parents, guests, and President Zheng:  

Good morning！

Today, we gather here to celebrate the commencement of the Class of 2024.  

This year’s graduation theme means “Let the Past Be, Embark on a new Glorious Chapter.” The Chinese character “任” in the theme draws inspiration from Su Shi's poem “Ding Feng Bo” where the line contains the word Ren reflects a carefree and open-minded attitude towards the trials and tribulations of life.

The class of 2024 has gone through a lot and has made big breakthroughs. Looking back now, all past challenges seem like light clouds. Despite the trials and tests, you have shown resilience and demonstrated the splendid chapter of your growth. You have written a glorious chapter.  

Our school shares a similar journey, we’ve also achieved a lot despite the challenges . Since its founding in 2018, the external environment for the school’s growth has not always been favorable. However, we have persistently dedicated ourselves to providing professional education, always aiming to foster the genuine growth of our students, striving to cultivate students who can integrate into and illuminate the world. Now, we are recognized as a refreshing force in international education. Our students continuously grow within the school, and your seniors continue to thrive robustly in universities. Additionally, obtaining the license as a private high school has enabled the school to develop in a more diversified and secure manner.  

Today, as you are about to leave this familiar campus and embark on new journeys, remember that the road ahead is filled with unknowns and challenges. But trust that the knowledge you have accumulated, the character you have developed, and the perspectives you have broadened will be your solid support on this path. Graduation is not an end but a new beginning, the start of writing new chapters in your lives!

In this rapidly developing era, new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data are evolving at an unprecedented pace, bringing significant changes to our lives and work. As the youth of the new era, you have both the responsibility and the ability to master these new technologies and contribute your strengths to the development of society.  

Everyone knows that our campus is very beautiful. In fact, our school has many loquat trees, which are said to symbolize resilience and perseverance. I have tasted many kinds of loquats, some sent by friends from afar, and some specially selected from the market, but none taste as good as those from our school. If you haven't tasted the school's loquats yet, I invite you to try them after the event, although the loquats have been mostly eaten by birds and our teachers and students. I checked this morning, and there are still some "survivors." The loquats at Hongrun Boyuan, though varying in size and plain in appearance, possess a unique sweetness and aroma that make them irresistible. The unique natural environment here nurtures them.  

Every year when the loquats are ripe, it is the time for you to return to your alma mater to visit your teachers, your juniors, and this campus that nurtured you, just like your seniors do. Many of your seniors are here today to witness and congratulate your graduation, to reminisce about the people and events here, and to carry forward the warm and powerful Hongrun Boyuan community culture!

In closing, on behalf of the school, I sincerely thank the trust and support from our group company and Chairman Zheng Hongfang, which allow us to work according to educational principles without distraction. I sincerely thank our parents, including those of our graduates, for their trust and support, making us never feel alone and more empowered in the process of helping the children grow. I sincerely thank all our students, including today’s graduates and alumni of Hongrun Boyuan School. Your continuous growth encourages us to be better educators and to improve our educational practices, serving as the motivation and source of our efforts. I sincerely thank every staff member at Hongrun Boyuan School. It is your collective and continuous efforts that have enabled the school to achieve substantial development, becoming a harmonious community that is conducive to the growth of both students and ourselves.
